This is where Google comes in - it's a great resource for finding high-resolution versions of your existing (but smaller) pics.
Google isn't limited to text-based searches - it's also a potent tool for looking up images too. You might need an image in a specific file format, with a transparent background, or perhaps in a high-resolution format - Google is ready to assist.
Easy to understand tutorial
Click on the 'images' option located at the top right corner of Google's homepage. This will redirect you to Google Images – a platform dedicated to image searches.
Next, click on the small camera icon situated next to the magnifying glass in the search box.
Clicking the camera icon will open a pop-up window with an option to upload files. Google Images accepts bitmap formats like jpg, png, bmp, gif, or webp.
After you've uploaded your image, Google will present a new page where you can select the whole image, or just a specific part to search. This feature saves time, as it eliminates the need to manually crop the image.
On the right hand side, or at the bottom of the page, you'll see search results featuring similar images. We suggest clicking on the 'find image source' link for the best results.
Clicking on the find image source link allows you to choose from a variety of different sizes of image. You can select medium, large, or images of any size.
Naturally, if you're after the highest possible resolution, always go for the large images. The bigger the better, frankly.
For best results, you should always use the highest resolution images available for vector conversion.
Vectorizing small, blurry images often leads to subpar outcomes because the tracing software can't distinguish the finer details of the image.
