If you intend to remove the background from an SVG file, this tutorial will guide you through this process. First, use a vector file converter to turn a bitmap image into an SVG file, and then edit it using our free vector editor. Refresh the page or press F5 if the vector editor fails to load.
First, upload your bitmap image to our vectorization app. We recommend using JPG files for vector conversion. If you don't have a JPG file, our WEBP converter can help you export it. After vectorization, click on 'Show Tracing Options,' choose the 'CutOut' option, and download your processed SVG file.
Launch our free vector file editor and open your SVG file there. You can find this option in the top menu (File > Open SVG).
Hold Ctrl/Cmd and scroll with the mouse wheel or click on the magnifier icon.
Choose the 'select tool' from the left menu and click on the background.
Press the DEL button or right-click and choose 'CUT' from the menu.
Go to the top menu and choose (File > Save image).
