This article aims to guide you through the process of converting bitmap files that trigger the "File Type Not Supported" or "missing details" error messages into image formats compatible with our vectorization tool.
WEBP and AVIF are emerging image formats gaining popularity on the internet due to their compact size and rapid loading capabilities. While WEBP is a creation of Google, AVIF was developed by the Alliance for Open Media. These formats function differently from conventional images, acting more as web links than static visuals. Outside the online realm, they are generally less versatile (e.g., as wallpaper).
For graphic endeavors, the most suitable bitmap formats undoubtedly encompass JPG and PNG files. These time-tested image formats, with decades of existence, enjoy widespread support across numerous applications. If you lack files of this type, two alternatives are at your disposal: either locate a similar image in JPG or PNG format or proceed with file conversion.
Note: If jpg or png files trigger error messages then try to re-convert them using a WEBP converter. Don't forget to remove accents from the file name.
Determining the file format type involves a right-click on the file, followed by the selection of "Properties," and subsequently choosing the "Details" option.
Commence by selecting an appropriate converter—either a WEBP converter or an AVIF converter.
